The Big Mother Energy Method

Five moves from 'one day' to a date on the calendar.

Someone with big mother energy knows the skills and experience they already have are their biggest asset, and uses them to create a future that works for them.

The five moves

  1. 1

    Say It

Two questions. If you could quit your job and do whatever brings you joy, what would it be? And what's really holding you back? The first answer is the safe one. The second is the true one.

  2. 2

    Flip It

A dream isn't a plan yet. Shrink it into one specific step you can take this week.

  3. 3

    Clap It

The seconds after someone says something true decide whether she'll ever say it again. Meet it with a slow clap, not silence.

  4. 4

    Date It

One sentence: what, and by when. Then someone asks about it on that date, even if the answer is no.

  5. 5

    Go First

You can't ask a room for something you haven't shared yourself. Go first with something still unfinished.

So when is one day?

Bring the Method to your group

Run it with friends, your team, or a room of 300. Megan teaches the Method as a 60- to 90-minute workshop.
